W-Well...I had some people explain the currency system to me. I'm honestly not sure...

It will probably depend on how much research and effort it requires but I don't know that yet...

Yeah. Alchemy is the science of transmuting one thing into another basically.

U-um...let me put it this way...

Say I had...erm...a pile of stone and a mound of dirt. According to the principle of Equivalent Exchange that states that anything I sacrifice, I will obtain something of equal value, then I can make...say...a spear with a head made out of stone or something if I have enough material. The mound of dirt has the same organic matter as wood, so it can be transmuted into wood. The stone obviously has the same composition as a stone spear-head so...it would work.

Ah..yeah! I can transmute one thing into another as long as I have enough material to do it.
