hey deanna i am writing you this becuase i have had a really hard time getting in contact with you by phone. i was reading your diary, like i sometimes do, and saw that you had stopped going to class. yes this is going to be another "please go to class" speech so if you don't want to hear it you can stop reading it now because it is going to piss you off. but i really hope that you will at least listen to what i have to say. sweetie you can't just stop going to class, you can't. you worked so hard to get to college and you can't just drop out becuase its hard or you think that you're not smart or whatever. you can do this. i have all the faith in the world in you and then some. i know that classes are hard and that sometimes you want to give up. hell, i don't want to go to class a lot of the time but i go becuase i understand the importance of a college education. and maybe classes wounldn't be so hard if you went to your lectures. i know that you can do well especially in chinese becuase you rock in languages and you're just a

Okay Deanna sweetie, I know you're not gonna wanna hear this either but i gotta put my two cents in...I think Brit is right. You can't just drop everything because you're failing a few classes. I KNOW it's hard, I can't tell you how many times i've called Brit or anyone who would listen because i've bombed yet another test...but you are so smart and i know you can do it. If you really want to get out on your own, have a couple of kids and be able to stick it to your parents you have no other choice. Please Deanna, we wouldn't go to these lengths if we didn't care, we love you and damn-it Deanna i'm not gonna sugarcoat it--you can only become something if you work for it, it's gonna be hard, it's gonna suck at times but when you're able to afford you're own home, new car, computer, whatever you want without working two jobs it's gonna be worth it. As far as transferring to NOVA...BAD idea. NOVA is fine if you have no other choice, if there are circumstances beyond you're control, if you're starting from scratch but it's not for you. No
