So I had Monday and Tuesday off and I spent about 600 minutes of that watching the entire Godfather trilogy.

And even though it gave me a lot to think about with that whole big thing about how a good man succumbs to evil, there was one thing that struck me more...

And that was this:

Sofia Coppola really is that bad of an actress.

Wasn't she cast in a jam, though? I own the box set but refuse to ever watch Part III again. The entire movie is that bad.

She was. Winona Ryder fell ill and Sofia came into the role...but you know at the time, with sequels to the arguably the greatest movies of all time, they would've found another actress or at least had the money and resolve to find a more worthy actress.

And it really isn't just Sofia Coppola, anything from Al Pacino's make up to Connie suddenly becoming evil to the whole Catholic Church conspiracy crap, it really is eh. What happens at the end of II was always good enough for me.
