I am moving on to a state of hibernation in terms of blogging, photography and travel, which means for the next few months, there would hardly be any updates from me. Something else took over the priority list and for next six months, i will dedicate the whole of myself for the same - though i might drop into my LJ friends page  as and when i get

And, I love the phrase "On an other note, I am getting engaged on February 2008."

In my brand of American community, peopel have the idea there should at least be an *illusion* of surprise to an engagement** (He picked out the ring! All by himself! Omigosh! I wasn't expecting it! And he called my dad to ask permission!), noone would ever have a reason to say "I am getting engaged in Feb. 2008."

I love hearing something about getting married that is different from how it's usually done around here (And then I called my mom! And she cried! And I can't wait to tell everyone! Eeeeekkkk!).

**Which, since women are total loons about having The Perfect Engagement Ring, is kind of hard to engineer these days.
