I have been doing an internship at a hospital near my home for the last 6 weeks. I found out Friday that the school's contract expired with them last September, so I was never supposed to be there. Today was so much fun. I started my second field work for my degree at a small pediatric center. I had such a good time watching a 2 1/2 year old boy in therapy. WOW. I don't even know what else to say about school. This is my last semester of actually being in the classroom, and they want to get lots in before it is over. I am not exaggerating when I say that we have 5 large projects in each of the 4 classes, and lots of community work. It is just too damn much. Well today we moved my sister into her dorm room at Sam. There were a few tears, but mostly just sweating and bitching about the process. It was so HOT.  The hills there are awful. I am sitting (again) for one of the therapist's at work. It is an easy job and all, but it is just too weird being in someone else's house for a week. I never feel at home or comfortable like they tell me to be. This is strange, I know but it isn't my place. I miss my place right now. My sister's 18th birthday was yesterday. It's weird how someone else's birthday can make you feel older than one of your own. I can't believe she is 18 already and going to college in a couple of weeks. WOW! Time flies. At her party on Sunday she got a few "adult" gifts...from her church friends. After several weeks of endless searching, I have bought a "new" car. I am so excited. It is not what I had in mind, but it was within my price range and I think it is a cute car. It is so nice not to have to look anymore. Yeah!!!  I tried attaching a pic, but am computer illiterate. Oh, well.
