My dear, you are doing really well, you are trying and being realistic and you are so so right it IS baby steps. When something has been such a massive part of your life for so long OF COURSE change is gonna be SLOOW and difficult, but I believe that your approach to it is spot on. The home visiting sounds cool, I would like to start doing something like that... and Maisie... BEST NAME EVER!! I love it, if I ever have a child, I would like to call it maisie (only if it's a girl, obviously!). Where in london is Harley street? I've never been there.. it's where a lot of the plastic surgery clinics are, isn't it?
Despite the obvious worrying weight bit at the beginning, this entry of yours cheers me :) Keep hold of that motivation, you're doing superbly! Xxx
Thanks - yes and when I say 'baby' I mean like - tiny, weeny premature newborn!! Sometimes its a few steps forward and one back as well, but I'm told to expect this, too.
Ha - Maisie IS a great name. She's been called it all her life, but I don't know why because her real/official name is actually Charlotte!
Harley Street one of the roads is right between Baker St. tube next to SW corner of Regents Park and Bond St. tube on Oxford street. So basically it runs north from near the west end of Oxford street. All of that area is owned by one landord company and is ALL medical - All kinds of general and specialist doctors, dentists, eyes, cosmetic surgery and a lot of small private hospitals.
Sorry - I don't have a facebook. How was New York, by the way? - you had a trip recently didn't you? Or am I wrong?
Also, do you have a facebook account? I'd like to add you if you do! Don't worry if not though, I will understand if you don't have one / don't want to have online friends on it. I tried to stay with only real life friends on it at first but now I have online friends there too and its a good way to stay in contact :)
Yes, baby steps are definitely the way to go, just one day, one meal at at time. Keep taking care of yourself. It sounds like you're doing so well yet your weight really frightens me...please be careful. Also, I bet it makes that lady so happy when you come on Thursdays : )
"I'm cold most of the time. It hurts to sit on hard seats. That's not good." Yeah, me too. While I was sitting outside on the steps yesterday, I kept feeling like I wanted to cry because the steps hurt so much and I had to sit on them for 45 mins. And when I'm in class, the hard seats hurt my tailbone and back. I'm even freezing when other people are hot and sweaty. =[

For what it's worth I think today's baby step was a pretty solid one, well done :)
