Hello, it's me. I bring you stories and tales of woe, no wait, that's not right

So, how long has it been? There gets to be a point where there is no point in offering explanations and excuses.
But here they are if you want them )

So wonderful to hear from you. You have indeed been missed. *hugs*

I really hope better, brighter days are just around the corner for you.

Will check out the stories and will read as soon as I can, I am so behind with any reading at all. RL has not been so good lately for me too.

Thanks, sweetie. So sorry to hear RL not treating you well, you DESERVE to be treated well. I order it to do better!
My notices thing is not working so just saw some of these comments. LJ has not been the same for the past year or so.
Read when you get a chance, and I hope it gives you some pleasure. Hope you get some good things coming your way and the RL stuff is not as big as those elephants in your icon.

Love and hugs,

Arwen

It's not me that's doing it tough but bad news about others. My Godmother, who has cancer for the third time, has also been diagnosed with Parkinson's and she has been so brave but this news has really knocked her for a loop. She and my Mum have been friends since they were 13 and are both now 89, so it has upset Mum a lot too. Pat is widowed and has no children and her sister who usually goes with her to appointments and tests is away on a cruise so Mum and I are doing the rounds with her. Then on Friday night I got a call from a high school friend that I am still very close to and she told me she has advanced cervical cancer. So not a good few days really, I just didn't feel like being online I must admit. :(

Thank you for your kind words. *hugs*

I am so sorry. *hugs* I know how you feel--sometimes I feel like all I do is go to viewings and funerals. And cry. But, these times are cyclical. The cousins and I keep hoping for the weddings and new baby cycle to start up soon, thank God for large Irish families. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

Read these with glee! Just happy to have you back! Know all about time getting away! My temporary teen boarder is still with us but I wouldn't have it any other way! He really is part of our weird, wild and wacky fam now! Even reading has to take a back seat to work and family, both still demanding and hectic but in a different way! As for writing that remains a distant dream and wish I will fulfill one day! (I comfort myself with the thought that I was writing mostly for me and I was never as good as you or Gael, so I won't be missed that much! lol!) Your 'discussion' with your eldest sounds similar to one I had with my eldest daughter when she was trying to get me to write for Mills and Boon rather that Fan fic as at least it was profitable! rofl! Positive thoughts and prayers for your health, and WELCOME BACK! :)

Thanks, Dee. You do so much that is important but never sell your writing short!
Hugs.

Everyone moves through grief in their own time, it can't be rushed. I'm just glad to hear you're working on writing and I look forward to hopefully seeing you around here a little more often anyway.

Thanks--and I frequently went back and looked at your other words of wisdom when the stress from family got to me. I appreciated that advice so much though I did not tell you as I should have.

Hugs,
Arwen

Hi Arwen,
When I saw the notice for a new chapter of King's Wolf, I immediately reread chapter 3 and then read chapter 4. I hope you continue the story at least until Lycan and Nic are reunited. Please!
Things are good with me, but my husband is between jobs (not by choice) which is hard on us all. I've completed my paralegal classes and am also looking locally for something.
I can relate to your unexpected grief over your mom because my paternal grandmother was not someone I would have said I loved, so when I missed her after she died I was very surprised.
Keep writing!
P.S. I sent my oldest to college this year (our state University).

How great to hear from you! I hope the holidays were good for you-always tough when those first holidays come up after the first one goes to college, depending on whether they can come home and when you are Jewish, the important holidays come up really early in the semester.
Anyway, I hope the year is going well for you. And your college kid.:)
It's nice that you're enjoying this story. I have another fifty pages that will go up soon.
Hope you will like it.
