Now the house AC isn't working.  Why is karma kicking me in the arse??  I was good -- I baked pumpkin bread last week.... I promised more this week... and frozen watermelon... and of course brownies....

I do NOT do well without AC - I am a very bitchy cranky person in heat and humidity and when not on fairegrounds.....  I've changed the filter,

Thanks for the hug! Doesn't look like I will be doing them -- which is totally weird for me to even think about. The Bucks office apparently is gonna use me for absolute "We're screwed if we can't find a nurse" fill-in as opposed to giving me clinics since it would all be OT for me.

pout. I guess I'll call my doc then. I had told them I'd get it at a flu shot clinic when I went in yesterday. Or maybe I'll just find one and hit that.

First thought, did you check/flip the breaker?

Second thought, it got into the 50s last night. That had to help.

No - didn't check the breaker. The fan was working the AC just wasn't cooling. Thank goodness it did get cool last night and all was subsequently ok.

Haven't heard from the Home Warranty place that was supposed to be getting this "Emergency" call....
