I'm lacking in options for this weekend. The Ship Anime party is Friday, so while I'd love to reconnect with a lot of friends I've fallen out of touch with, I can't make it. My inertia is really starting to get me depressed again. Work has been a bit better, but it's still not something I ever look forward too. I really worry sometimes that it's not that I don't like the job, it's just that I have an absolutely horrible work ethic and would fail at almost anything. Wanted: Cuddling
I'm in need of cuddles, it seems. Jen almost got cuddled on Comp Day, and I'm missing bring able to hold Jess. Pillows aren't the same, I'm still running below touch quota. If only I hadn't been forced to incinerate my best friend, the Aperture Sciences Weighted Companion Cube, perhaps it could keep me company.

Singing
Music practice was this Sunday again. I almost forgot about it until Sol called me. It was lots of fun, had a big turnout. For the first time, I sang with sheet music and other singers. I think I sing well, but I've never done it before with anyone else or even with instruments, so even if I was in the wrong key, it sounded ok. It was scary at ( Read more... ) -

Some residents honestly deserve abuse, I swear.
Came entirely too close to losing my job today. One of the residents has taken to rubbing Jess's arms while she's doing care, and asking about her if she isn't, and trying his best to look down her shirt. Ryan[1]: "I'll add an S. T I T S, 4 points."
Me: "B E M O A N S, 22 points."
Ryan[0]: "What the hell is 'bemoans'? That's not a word."
Me: "Sure it is, it means you're a QQing bitch, this isn't fourth grade Scrabble anymore kiddies."
Needless to say, I won that game. -
Composition Day!
I will be offering classes in LilyPond and will also have Finale Notepad available for music engraving. Recording software will be available, I'll have to see about getting a mic that's not attached to my headphones. Printing will hopefully be available as well.
