Permission/Info Post!
Hi, everyone! As you can probably tell, I am the same Light who arrived nearly exactly a year ago and left in August of the same year. Light #2! This means a few things. First, it means I'm a dirty stinking filthy liar for telling everyone in IRC that I wasn't apping this round. But most importantly, it means this:
Light remembers everything I do. I didn't think I'd pick him up again, and Light didn't think he'd be coming back to CFUD, so obviously we didn't commit everything to memory. And I think it'll be cheating if I go back and look things up. (Plus, I'm lazy and some of my old RP embarrasses me)
So please, do not be upset or poke me if Light does not remember your character and they'd met previously. On that same token, Light may only remember unsavory things about your character. Like people who could see Ryuk and gave him grief about it? HE REMEMBERS YOU AS A THREAT.
So. Onto the other things.
Second time's a charm?
He did a fairly obvious "F U" to two campers (no longer present) before leaving, which means that a couple people know more than they otherwise would about the Death Notes. This is okay with me. Just please remember that the characters that may have TOLD you about them did so under the premise that your character will keep quiet about them. The reasons for this will be explained later.
What this ALSO means is that Light is going to be a LOT more cautious this time. There probably won't be any ostentatious anvil-dropping or rigging the moogles to shoot campers or whatever. He'll still be the same manipulative Light we know and love. He just won't be abusing the Note as bad as he did the last time he was in camp. On CAMPERS, at least.
Once a Kira, always a Kira.
Light STILL will be killing criminals from in camp. He did this the last time he was here, and he's going to keep up with it. Death will probably be the only one really aware of this, but it's something I probably should clarify. He has the Note. And he's using it. Just, as I mentioned above, most likely not on campers or counselors.
Psychics
Okay, you have a psychic character and want to know what you can "See" in Light's brain. Basically? He's totally arrogant , highly intelligent, and crazy-manipulative, and has no real feelings for those chicks he leads on and uses. That's no secret. I would prefer it if you didn't deduce "MURDERER" right away, but I don't mind you picking out that he's not a Good Person, and definitely not someone you want to piss off. Also maybe you will be able to see his private crazyfaces. I can work with that. Anything deeper I'll happily talk over!
Detectives/Wannabe detectives
So you hear people talking shit about Light and want to figure out wtf it is. By strictly observing him, you're going to find that his behavior is REALLY clean and that he's just a studious guy. Light goes to great lengths to give the appearance of a perfect alibi, and he's aware that people in camp know a lot of things he would prefer they didn't. So he's a cautious guy. So if you want your character to make the leap from "That guy some people REALLY don't like for some reason" to "Murderer", uh. Talk to me plz. Answer will most likely be no unless I specifically write him slipping up.
Characters who know Light is a fictional character
If your character knows that Light is a fictional character AND is familiar with his canon, YOU SHOULD OBVIOUSLY KNOW WHAT HAVOC TELLING THE WORLD ABOUT THE DEATH NOTES WILL WREAK. With that said, if you call him out on it, please do it privately. Locked posts are awesome. I think it'd be fairly interesting to have this sort of dynamic with characters, so PLEASE contact me first and I will totally bother you to work something out. :Db
Ryuk
Okay, in the past, I was kind of "meh" about who could see Ryuk and who couldn't. And that led to some fairly awkward situations. So I am going to specify now. Only those who can see SPECIFICALLY Shinigami or "Death god" or "Grim reaper" types can see Ryuk without touching the Note. If you can see ghosts, you can't see Ryuk. If your Grim Reaper is an actual physical being and that's why you can see him, you can't see Ryuk. If you ARE Death, you CAN see Ryuk. (This is perhaps the only exception, if an exception at all.) Now, I'm not saying NOBODY CAN PERCEIVE him. In fact, I'm very open to people maybe seeing a shadow, sensing a "presence", or even hearing Ryuk's laughter from time to time. If you think your character would be able to actually SEE him for reasons not listed above, please contact me and we'll talk it over! ♥ I don't bite!
Wtf age?
For simplicity's sake (and because he'd be in jail by now if I weren't doing this), Light is taken from the EXACT SAME POINT IN CANON that I pulled him from last time. This means that he's taking two trips to the states in rapid succession, but hey. He didn't get to see Universal Studios last time. And he won't this time, either. Lose-lose!
Cry Wolf
Obviously I'm playing Light, and I like having Light play Cry Wolf. Shepherds, go ahead and make Kira cracks. Light will deny it. Sheep/Wolves, when "killer" and Kira clues show up and point to Light, go ahead and recognize it. And hell, it's probably going to eventually come out that Light is a mass murderer. Please keep this in CFUW ONLY. I don't mind you carrying the knowledge from game to game, but under no circumstances should it carry over into the main community.

And now, without further ado, the things I would very much like to NOT happen to Light, along with my reasonings, both ICly and OOCly.
Please do not kill Light!
ICly: It freaks him out. A LOT.
OOCly: Doing so will make him lose the Note and most likely make it default to a moogle. This means that while I do get to play him all actually nice and without ulterior motives, it's not much Light without the Note. So I have to find a way to get it back. And I can only do this so many times! In short, plz no killing the Light without my consent and encouragement.
Please do not beat him within an inch of his life and then dump his battered body.
ICly: ....w...what why would you do that.
OOCly: I don't want to play a slow recovery process while Light regains the usage of his writing hand. D:
Please do not stand on a rooftop and shout "LIGHT HAS A DEATH NOTE, KILLS PEOPLE, AND IS EVIL."
ICly: First off, this will cause a major uproar. Second, more evil people are going to attempt to beat Light up and steal his candy. Third, with the existence of the Note brought public, there will be absolutely NOTHING standing in the way of Light or ANYONE ELSE OPENLY KILLING EVERYONE.
OOCly: Okay, I do realize that most of the characters who were adamant about keeping the Notes hush-hush are no longer in camp. However, those who DID say something to other characters about it ALSO instructed them to keep things under a tight lid. Why? LOOK AT THE IC REASONS. So please. If you're going to share this knowledge with someone, ask me first. Please. If there aren't any real reasons beyond "Well my character thinks Light is evil and wants (x) to know it too", then my answer will most likely be no.
