OOC Notes
YET ANOTHER INFO POST!
Hokay, this is a list of OOC things that I'd like to just have up.

The absolute easiest way to reach me is through IRC under the nickname Junyi or some variant thereof. I very rarely change from this, so I'm fairly easy to find. If I'm not actually speaking in the channel, then it's very likely that I'm not even paying attention to my IRC window (Even though it's visible 100% of the time thank u mac :-*!), so you're going to have to ping me. I am pinged by the following words:
- Junyi
- Jun
- Sam
- Yagami
- Raito
- Ryuk
Note that I have "Raito" instead of "Light" on ping, as Light is a very commonly used word and I don't like being pinged by it. "Yagami" and "Ryuk" are two DN-related words that usually mean that someone's actually talking about Light. I've never been pinged by them before, so. :B And "Sam" is my real name.
I'm also automatically pinged by new PM windows, so don't hesitate to PM me! If I don't respond to a PM or a Ping, then I am not at the computer. And if I immediately sign off following a ping or a PM, Colloquy froze and I will be back as soon as I can. I don't avoid people on IRC, and I don't have an ignore list.
If IRC isn't your bag, I'm easily reachable under the AIM name McJunyi. I keep AIM open 24/7 and I never set away messages, so please beware. I very rarely deliberately ignore IMs (If I ever deliberately ignore people, it's nothing personal; I'm just in a REALLY bad mood. I've only done this once.). I, however, very frequently inadvertently ignore new IMs. My client is weird. I don't know. And to top it off, if this is the first time you've ever IMed me, my idle message will not pop up. So please be prepared for that. If this happens, I will add you to my buddylist and reply as soon as I see you online. Please let me know who you are when you IM me!
I'm also reachable via LJ comments. Feel free to locate me at krazysam and leave a comment on one of my recent posts to let me know you need something CFUD-related. I don't mind this at all, so really. Feel free!
And finally, I do have an email address. mcjunyi (at) gmail (dot) com. Please only use this as a last resort, because I HAET 2 E-MAIL. I'm not going to bite your head off if you e-mail me, of course, but I really do prefer chat-style interactions with people because I prefer discussions to shooting essays at people. If I don't respond to an e-mail in a timely fashion, it may be because my e-mail client accidentally filed it as junk (part of why I hate to e-mail XD), or because I'm waiting to catch you on IRC.
Commenting
Okay, if it's not obvious by now, I'm scatterbrained and also not as good at postwhoring as I used to be. If I run a post and get swamped, I will very frequently reply in a flat and quick fashion just so I can get to the other comments. I will also drop threads very quickly if I run out of intelligent things to say. This is nothing personal, and when I can get the hang Light again and learn how to quickly reply in-depth and in character, this problem will likely go away.
I also do not have a system for replying to comments. I try going down the list, but sometimes I'll end up getting sidetracked and I'll just reply to whatever comment catches my eye at the time. So if you catch me replying out of order, once again do not take this personally. I'll try my best to get to you.
If I skip you and I'm happily threading with other people while being completely oblivious to your comment, please ping me via IRC or AIM (or e-mail, if you have to; I'll catch the non LJ e-mail) and let me know. When my posts get large and there are sub-conversations going on, I will start tuning out all "Reply to post" e-mails from Livejournal. Sometimes I get lucky and catch a new comment to my post that needs my attention. Sometimes I miss them. In either case, It's not my style to snub people. Seriously, even if you are the Hatfield to my McCoy, I will play with you if you go to the trouble to play with me. So please keep that in mind and don't get offended if I forget you. Just remind me and I'll get to it. I promise.
Audience
SUP GUYS. Okay, this is a partial IC thing, but I want to give my OOC reasonings for it, too. I love audience. I love you guys, and I love playing with you guys. But when I'm swamped with IC things, you guys have kind of low priority if it's something that doesn't need an immediate reply. (Things like "I love you" or "OMG AWESOME", etc. I LOVE YOU TOO and I am grateful for those comments)
With that said, if you want to thread with me, I'm always up for it. Just keep the following in mind:
Light will ignore most information you give him on other campers. ICly, he doesn't trust you guys. OOCly, I don't want to step on any toes. On the same vein, I'd appreciate it if you didn't give too much information to other campers, like Light + Death Note.
Don't spoil Death Note for him! I'm playing him from Volume 4. So please don't TELL HIM HIS FUTURE!
EXCEPTION: if you want to taunt him with parodies referencing later volumes, he'll see them as stupid jokes. Which they really are BUT THIS IS BESIDE THE POINT. The infamous "GO FOR GOLD IN THE BEIJING OLYMPICS" is fair game. So is Death Note re-enacted by Mario and Luigi. (He probably wouldn't get it)
Concrit doesn't go in IC posts. If I mess up, please don't reply to my post with ((Um, isn't that a little OOC?)). MAYBE IT IS. But I'd rather play through my mistakes and attempt to correct rather than spending time in an IC post OOCly defending my actions OR apologizing.
