Ah, here's what you do. First, replace the [] symbols below with <> symbols:
In the line before the text you want to cut, type:
[lj-cut text="whatever you want the link to say"]
That's it. Change the beginning and ending characters and put in whatever text you want them to read and there you go. You could put it under the disclaimer or under the first paragraph, or whatever. Everything above the "cut" will show up and everything below will be hidden.
As for how to post to a comm, first you join the comm, then read the 'rules' in the user profile and it'll tell you what your header needs to say (yours looks pretty close, as is, IIRC). Might take a bit to start, but once you get the hang of it, it's easy. You can always edit it, too, if you discover you've screwed up after the fact. (I usually do. ;-)
OH! You have to be in the HTML tab, not the Rich Text tab. :-( You can edit the entry, click somewhere in the story, do a "select all" and then click the html tab and paste (though it's possible it will move the text itself).
