So....kinda curious here. & probably opening pandora's box while I'm at. what is the deal with some writers & concrit? Tell them they really need a beta & the think you're flamimg or attacking them. Then they throw a snit worthy of a toddler. Grow up already, people!

I think many people consider it an attack, rather than help. Personally, I think it should be handled privately and with the caveat of "I want to help you be the best writer you can be."

But at a certain point, I don't know if you can always get through to people. Ahhh, for the old fanzine days of tough editors who were also encouraging.
