[Clinic duty is clinic duty, no matter what universe you're in. Granted, here, people who come in claiming they've got the Black Death are slightly more likely to actually have the Black Death-- but most cases of the sniffles are still just the sniffles, most people who want prescription painkillers don't need prescription painkillers, and for some reason, there's always one guy who takes off his pants in preparation for his ear exam. Who knows.]

[Today is busy but boring, and Cameron is a little distracted as she checks the sign-in and pulls the next patient's file from the pile. Not that it's much of a file; the lack of medical records does nothing to make their jobs any easier here.]
