i understand completely. and i think it's much better to be away on your bday, so you don't have to worry about who has/has not acknowleged your bday. you are really really thoughtful of people (especially when it comes to their bdays) and i'm really sorry that no one returns the thoughtfulness. that's how i was feeling on my birthday and after my birthday. it really sucks that birthdays for girls is such a huge deal. i promise that i'll hang out with you on your birthday.

trust me i know how you feel too. my sweet sixteen wasn't exactly how i had dreamed about it either. if i was there i would def. throw a party for you!!!! fuck my parents for moving.... i just wish i could be there for you :( i'll definitely be thinking about you on the 16th though!! and i also always go all-out on presents for friends.... finding unique gifts and such. spending months planning and sewing sometimes.

i really hate birthdays. but i do hope you enjoy yours this year!
