So last week, a co-worker and I went to lunch at "The Source", which is Wolfgang Puck's new place over at the Newseum.

It was interesting. First, you need a reservation for lunch too when you want to sit in the dinning room. Otherwise you are regulated to the highup chair seating or the bar. We choose the highup seating. The menu was diverse, ( Read more... )

I like to use cinnamon. It is a great savory spice though most people associate it with sweet. If I'm doing a real chili from scratch with chunks of meat they are always dredged in flour, cinnamon and nutmeg first.
