It's OK, it is not the Ragnarok if people don't send me dead trees. I cut my card list way the Hel down this year because postage has gone through the roof (even with the Forever stamps). I guess I'm just cheap.
Glad Yule! I hope it means a chance to rest after all that moving crap. It seems to be the year for not being organised to send greeting stuff, as I haven't been either. I haven't even managed a level of organisation to send anything to my family, which I did last year. Mind you, they hadn't sent anything to me last year and this year my sister has got a parcel in the post and arrived yesterday ... so I figure we're even.
Don't feel bad. I know what you mean. Not counting Sam, I sent out a total of three cards this year, and they were to people who needed information from me. I moved in a month ago, and plus the new job, it's still kicking my ass. I am not a Christian so here in North Carolina there are not many opportunities for Holiday related social interaction. Though I follow the basic Jewish tenants, I am not Jewish, either, Besides that. I also have a few elements thrown in that would horrify most devout Jewish people anyway. I have, though, eschewed most commercialism and have no holiday trappings. If I manage to relax with my cats for several days, that in itself will be sacred enough for me! (I do hope to visit my favorite tree on my property at home.) Happy Holidays!
