So.. I finished watching X2 (X Men 2?) just a little bit ago, and I have to ask.. Am I the only one who wondered why Iceboy didn't hop out of the plane and freeze the lake? That's really bothering me ( Read more... )

Hehehe, yeah.. he wanted to be called Iceman. But to me (and many movie goers my age) Iceman will always be Val Kilmer with a crew cut. ;)

And no 98 degrees reject is gonna convince me otherwise!!!

I realize this makes me a geek, but what the shit.

She closed the door behind her and started the launch sequence on the jet. They couldn't get out to help her because she was holding the door closed. Otherwise Cyclops would have went outside and died with her.

Uh huh... but I guess she wasn't able to put together the following pieces of information:

1) with her telapathy she knew the dam was going to break
2) with her eyes she knew that Iceboy was sitting in the plane with soiled underpants
3) .... alternate endings aren't cool in action movies

anyway, just my single criticism of the movie.. as I was watching the final sequences, I kept waiting for Justin Timberlake.. I'm sorry, Iceboy... to make his move.

I said I was keepin' the lookout... I always am keeping the lookout, at a bar or at the grocery store or whilst getting an oil change.

Do I think she'll show up at a bar? Not very likely.

What does she do for a living? Something that she enjoys, is stable, and pays for her choice in lifestyle.

I drove all the way up to Schaumburg (about 45 minutes) the weekend it opened cause that was the closest screen where it was playing.

And when it came out on DVD, I pre-ordered and bought it at Best Buy.
