Well, last night I headed back out to a blues jam. I had come home from work and knocked off three loads of laundry, stripping the bed, vacuuming the bedroom, hallway, living room and den, remaking the bed and of course taking care of my pets' basic food, water and shelter needs

And yes you don't post much lately! I mean I don't either but when ever I log on here I would prefer to see some posts from you!
As to going to listen to jazz... I will have to see if there is anything closer to me, sounds fun, sounds rich, sounds tempting.

Jazz, rock, that stuff just wouldn't work. The blues follows a progression. These guys who get up on stage with you, they don't even know your name half the time and haven't ever played with you. But with three little pieces of info - what key, what feel and what tempo - you're ready to go.
As the drummer, I don't pay much attention to the key. (It's a common joke - "Hey, what key are you in?" "Z!") But you hear "slow blues in A" and I ask back "How slow?" 10 seconds later we're launching into a blistering, sweating, slow burnin' blues song.
I was there again last night. Brought a friend of mine who came up from Indy to visit. He loved it. He's not into the blues, but he loved the show last night, even when we weren't sure if I was going to be able to get up and play.

When you get your product thingee, let me know. We have lots of chefs and food scientists here. Our head chef actually leads this team of high school students who compete in the US and Europe. Pretty cool stuff. :)

He go his nickname when he was a kid (you've seen his face)
His real name is Timothy.
(But I wouldn't call him by name unless you wanna get shanked !)
That soul song you mentioned, is actually a Bob Dylan tune called "I shall be released"
It's my version of it,anyway.
Yes, Chicago Slim (aka Mike Caracinni) is Pauline's husband.
The keybord player's name is Mark Pacci (pronounced packey)
I don't know the bassman's name, but I do know that he's playing with Groover Washington (the band)

Thanks for filling in some of the background information. Your gig June 18th is about a half mile from where I work. I'll have to see about dragging out some of my coworkers.
You're welcome for the plug to your websites and albums. I figure an art form like the blues could use a few volunteer advertisers.
And next time I hit the website, I will leave a message.
See you around some night soon,
-Scott
