I like "vista1.jpg", not for any particular photographic value but because I could dig living in a place like that. Although in a later pic it looks like it is near the water? or is that a different set of buildings?

very perceptive! yes, the commode of "vista1" is on that site twice. That house is very near the water, but not on the water. The sand is sand from the trail. Block Island is a narrow island so I guess it could be said that every house is near the water.
