So back in mid-January at the Ramshaven baronial moot HRM Dagmar asked me if I would do Quilliam's ducal scroll. Garraed Galbraith would be providing the wording. Her stipulations were that it be Epic and something that even a mundane friend would find cool.

this is awesome. The calligraphy is beautiful, worthy of a jewish marriage scroll.

Thank you!! It's really not as smooth as I would like - the Boke of Memories has better examples.

I'm used to working on smooth pergamenata, and the hair side of the parchment tends to drag not just the pen but the hand as one writes. But I preferred that slight inconvenience to the ever-tacky flesh side where the ink never really dries and never sinks in.
