Picture this, You walk into a store intending to get an application. Ahead of you is a customer finishing up with the person behind the customer service desk, so you wait patiently. Ran into a few of those in my time. What really makes loads of sence is if you go in, ask for app. get told to go online, go online fill out app then get told to return to the store for what pretty much amounts to them having a once over physical veiw of you.
Applying to places has gotten down right silly. Only online, only in person, only on the phone, resume a must, no thanks no need for resume. It's silly. When IronTiger was looking for a job begining of summer he'd go out all day and then in the afternoon return and I'd ask him if he filled out any applications, he'd say no, they all told me to go online. Try looking at carreerbuilder.com or see if theres a staffmark in your area, IT got fairly good work at staffmark and they aren't one of those idiot temp agencies like many are.
