well then.

today was... special. that's pretty much all i've been saying when people ask. it's cool that sleepysluggo is in that anime class, because her just being there was moral support. if i didn't know anyone i probably would have walked out. the teacher rambles a bit... but i guess i do too. there were several times when i just wanted to say "would you please get to your point?" also got to finally meet apolloboy8189, which was awesome. truthfully, the class is waaaaaay different than what i was expecting. i thought it was history of Japanese Animation, notable directors/creators, about the effects of it on the world pop culture, and the way the world has affected it.
...
it's actually a critic class. you must see the underlying of the underlying of the underlying concept. whatever. some of the stuff that was said... i really doubt they were thinking that deeply when they decided to place a cicada on that particular tree. perhaps i am just an uneducated swine. either way, i have now come to love that i have found bliss in my simplicity. not to say that i don't get angry or think deep thoughts, but i really don't care about mundane actions. it's the same as asking why a person set their keys down there, or if and why they dry themselves in a certain fashion. they just do, there wasn't a metaphor for anything in their actions. sigh. i'll stay in the class, perhaps it will help me with my anger management issues.
which leads me to annoyance number two: kid that strays horribly off topic and monopolizes class time with stuff this particular class cares nothing about. sleepysluggo commented on him in her journal, so i'll leave it at that.
...the weird thing is, i'm pretty sure i'm going to end up on really good terms with him, since we <3 Gundam. oh well.
ate an early dinner with skyisgreen at TK Noodle. it was pretty good. took me a bit to realize all the sauce fixings and whatnot were right there on the table, so i added some possible oyster sauce to my won ton noodle bowl. i got a small, and i barely finished it.
which.
is.
AMAZING.
usually i have no problem packing away a bowl that size, but this stuff really filled me up. after eating we headed to Target and wandered about, then went back to school. my Japanese class was packed. i could not believe it. kinda disappointed with it... i was bored out of my mind. so far it just seems to be everything i took last year, but crammed into one quarter. i really hope i'm wrong, and learn something new. two familiar faces from my last class, which was reassuring. the teacher is a total scatter brain, and i love her for it. probably because i understand what's going on. i'm sure i'd be flustered a little bit if it was new material; i know some of the other students were. anywho... all in all, i survived, but i have the feeling i may snap before it's over. hopefully that's just my paranoia.

in the end, i just wanted to belt out Naruto's Neko Song.
