i just read that same quote, word for word, yesterday in a book about meditation. at least, i remember reading it and thinking about it, only i can't find it anywhere in the book.

okay, nevermind, that was utterly retarded. i remembered the sea captain in waking life too. i forgot the name of that movie, but i watched it two nights ago. that was definately one of the coolest movies i've ever seen.

that made me think as long as i imagine this dream is about me, i'm stuck. it feels better to imagine myself as a subtle character within the dream of an eternal collective-concsiousness. =)
