i can't say the word "fuck" enough times to describe how i feel about this movie. its fucking disgusting and appalling, although i know i shouldn't be suprised.
i personally don't find any kind of violence in films (or otherwise) entertaining, although i realize i am of a vast minority. but this is just fucking ridiculous. and it IS insulting. just like every other movie based on some kind of war or massacre or whatever. PEOPLE ACTUALLY FUCKING DIED PAINFUL HORRIBLE TERRIBLE DEATHS. THAT IS NOT AND NEVER WILL BE ENTERTAINING.
but leave it to some white americans to turn the biggest tragedy this country has seen in decades into a huge money-making oppurtunity. like i said, i know i shouldn't be suprised.
If this is what "unfettered capitalism" and "rugged individualism", or whatever bullshit the producers of this film pull out to defend themselves against the firestorm this should create, really lead to, then I want no part of them. Fuck that movie and fuck the people making it. Fuck anyone who watches it, and especially fuck anyone who profits from it. But then, it's a natural consequence of our society, isn't it? The dollar sign itself is just a morphing of the letters "U.S."
[yeah xxgoodmorningxx, I had to fill in a few more of those "fucks".]
