Dr. Sheela Basrur passed away today. i didn't work with her, but people in my branch did. after reading this article about her, i totally expected her to be back in the public service at some point, even in a reduced capacity, just being there. people remembered her most for keeping everyone calm during the 2003 SARS crisis as toronto's public
