One of my favorite treehugging bloggers posted this open letter to a state senator about their recent encounter in traffic. You'd think the senator wouldn't be such a dick, considering he has distinctive plates. But then, maybe he doesn't really care about getting re-elected.

haha a similar thing happened here a few months ago. in this case it was a cyclist who got into it with a car. cyclist was drunk, ran a light and the driver yelled at the cyclist to be careful and that he was giving cyclists a bad reputation. cyclist flies into a rage and starts beating the car with his bike! turns out the cyclist was a member of the BTA (bike transportation alliance) and the driver of the car was a very active cycling advocate who just happened to be driving.
