dense matter, yes you are right. perhaps what i should have said that if you looked at the universe from a distance it might appear undifferentiated, the worlds it contains being so small.

but we only remember these places we discover by attributing specific memories to them... what is the importance of unlocking the doors if we cannot remember where we've been? we have to keep our feet.
walk outside, look up. suppose you were shot straight ahead, never again to collide with matter, and to drift into the unknown, forever onward. it is important to remember where we came from if we want to understand anything new we encounter.
to learn we must forget ourselves, but to understand we must remember.
