i ate no breakfast, brought no lunch to work today, and i was very tired. on my lunch hour, i went out to try to find food, and i noticed something i hadn't noticed before. coffee $0.35 at the counter, $0.50 to go. 2 ice cream stores within a half mile, not diary queens or chains at all but independents. a pizza store, not a dominos or a little

yes, this florida place is weird, strip malls. strip malls...
there are a few choices, but in general theres little hope...
yes, even I (who hasnt the benefit of an automobile, have had to (after much hunger induced pain) have eaten at wendys... (but NO NO NO mc'ds)
but yes, there is still a place for independent business,
its just so hard to make people aware of it in their convenience coralled lives... really my friend here is continually amazed when i force him to go away from the beaten path, and make him go somewhere else... hes always like "wow, these ingredients are better" or 'wow, this is a sandwich'
etc etc..
