I just walked past 3 policemen booking one soggy looking commuter for jaywalking, when the night before last our neighbours were burglarised, and our neighbour said when I asked him if he called the police, and I quote
"*shrug* It's not like they can do anything about it."

when did the police stop being our protectors?
