i am alive! for those of you who had any concerns (or hopes?) to the contrary. i went home for thanksgiving break, and arrived back sunday night to find that i had nearly 200 messages on my art account, and quite a few journals to read. between catching up on these, and trying to begin to prepare for finals in a week and a half (not to mention one

It's good to hear from you again. If you are seriously bored, you could take some of the dumb quizzes we have been doing on here.
One cool thing about being consistently not-dead... it sounds almost like un-dead!
Good luck on the paper and finals. I just finished one last week; our instructor assigns you a certain disease or disorder and you write about it. I suppose it's a compliment, but she always says, in front of the whole class, that she needs to give the hardest one to me. The topic this time was "Thalassemia"; before that was the "Tetralogy of Fallot". (In case anyone cares, Thalassemia is an inherited sort of super anemia, and T.O.F. is a series of congenital heart defects that occur in a group.)

Ah, yes, the final stretch into Christmas Break! I had forgotten what it was like. Not since the Dark Ages. Now that I am in the Age of Enlightenment (i.e., I read what I blooming well want to) I have forgotten the word "paper". Good luck, my friend. And to help you out, I'm carrying enough Angst and SNOT for both of us. So you needn't worry about trying to carry your load. You take care of those finals, I'll take care of the snot rags!
