so i had a strange moment today. there's a guy here at school who looks nearly *identical* to my ex-boyfriend, about whom i do not wish to speak. his name is chris. i see this guy who looks like him around a lot, and i still give a start when i do. fearing that he may have noticed that every time i see him i look absolutely mortified, i said hello ( Read more... )

::HUGS:: I understand. I've been thinking today about a friend I haven't seen since 2000. She'll be 20 next month. There was this girl at Bible school who was a dead ringer for her in the face, just with short hair, and it took months to get over the shock of seeing her every day. The first time I saw her I thought "NO! Not here!" But seeing her helped me forgive and learn to love my old friend again. May it be the same for you, too.

hee. i remember all those times. and all the times i spent with you, and with the room as a whole, were good ones. there were even a few (a very few) with chris that weren't so bad :^)
