i think i may send in my laptop over break... it shouldn't be getting that hot...

sorry for lack of comments lately. sleep schecule has been for crap. ~_~ i shall remedy both of these situations as soon as possible.

Well, I can see how an ASEAriel could be promoted to GALADriel. That makes sense.

Sorry you burned yourself! Durn. No, it shouldn't do that. Check the minimuffin fan in the back. Or the air passages could have become clogged with the sheet. You might want to look into one of those lap boards - board on top, pillow on bottom for your lap -- to keep it elevated and with flowing air, but not touching you either.

it makes sense linguistically, actually. "galadriel" means "maiden crowned with a garland of light"--a reference to her hair. "aseariel" means "maiden crowned with a garland of leaves (or trees ^^; )" and is supposed to be my name loosely translated into elvish. "lauren"="crowned with laurel leaves"
