Back to the drawing board
Well, guess what? The posted bit of fanfic I have up? The only piece of fanfic on this journal? I didn't even end up using it in the final draft I'm working on. I cut it out. Completely. Well, maybe. Er.
This is a slow and painstaking process. It's my first fanfic, and I'm already going bonkers. Plus, there's the little fact that the fandom is completely non-existent, thus there probably won't be anyone reading it besides me. I'm so tempted to post it on Fiction Press, and just say that it's original, because at least there, it'll probably find an audience. But that's dishonest.
Meanwhile, I've done up to chapter six or thereabouts. And that's just one world, out of eight. Uuuugh. I want to illustrate it too, and I have one illustration ready, but I rushed, and it looks terrible. Meh.
So I'm back to square one. I guess I'll post the formal chapter one. Forget illustrating it for now. I'll do that when my sanity returns to me...sigh.
Edit: And go me--I went and deleted. Yeah, you really didn't need to see it. Yech.
