For senior dress-up day. Especially great because all I needed to buy was some blue ribbon! Inevitably, a grand total of three people actually knew who I was dressing up as, but eh. There can be no doubt: I am a dork of the highest degree. But: on with the pictures!

How long did it take you to make the shirt and hat? They look really well done...

The shirt, hat, and shoes took me like an hour total. Though I was giggling maniacally the whole time -- with mutterings of, "this is going to be sooo great, oh man..." -- and my mom was just shaking her head at me. It's probably a bad sign that this kind of thing doesn't surprise my family in the least...

Oh, by the way: I'm just making a few little edits to earlier chapters and I was wondering if I could use your 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, etc. style of labeling sections within chapters. It's really nice and neat, and I like it better than my old - - - - - thing. Yay? nay?

Thanks darling. If you make a costume too, you can be part of my nation-wide nerdy-girl Team Zissou! We'll listen to Bowie in Portuguese and have our own interns. (I almost dressed up as one of the Zissou interns, with those t-shirts that say INTERN on them and a holster, but I was afraid that that was a little TOO obscure a costume, even for me.)
