In Finland they call it Ystävänpäivä (Friends Day). I love that, it's so much more inclusive. Not everybody has or wants a romantic or sexual relationship, but I have yet to hear of anybody who honestly does not want friends (with the possible exception of psychopaths, but I'm not ruling out that they might want friends and just not have any).
