Interesting Stats From Japan

A survey earlier this year by the Japan Family Planning Association (JFPA) found that 45% of women aged 16-24 "were not interested in or despised sexual contact". More than a quarter of men felt the same way.

Interesting article. I had read other like this one before, but this one hits a lot of the points that bother me when people ask about my life. It's like a double standard. Since I'm female, I should want kids. I hate that notion. Yes, I'm female, and no, I don't want kids. I don't see the appeal. The idea of something growing inside me is gross, and I want to do w/ my life what I please. Having kids puts a hamper in that, unless you are a completely uncaring parent, but then, why have kids then?

So I can understand why girls prefer to remain single and to even forsake sex. Since there are so many double standards in regard to females and sex, avoid the issue by not being sexually active, right?
