A similuar situation happened to me last year in my creative writing class, I had to quote from the poetry book I was writing about, but he did take me aside and make a comment or two about my comments after. He concluded that I made all of them myself, but I still got an B on it. So I'm not sure why he thought I sounded so professional when he didn't even give me an A, even though I do admit the assignment was quite difficult to decipher.

Btw, found you in prettybooks I hope you don't mind I commented.

It's quite an awkward situation, isn't it? I felt so self-conscious when I was in front of my teacher trying to prove that I hadn't cheated. And oh, the difference between an A and a B, in Creative Writing as in History, is as thin as a paper; even the best teachers may seem biased when assigning those!

And of course I don't mind, quite the contrary!
