doesn't harvard email applicants? I remember Lindsey hornbuckle got news of her acceptance to princeton and yale via email.

Harvard does. Princeton doesn't because they want to stay traditional.

Ah... I know your anxiety well. x.X At this time last year, I felt just like you do.

I know this won't be much of a "cheer up" kind of statement, but... I got rejected from Harvard, Princeton, and Yale... and I also got rejected from every other school that I applied to (except the one I'm in, of course).

Buuut... I'm happy now. :D My point is, that once you get settled into a school (and believe me, I was convinced that I'd hate Maryland) if you like it enough, you'll come to terms with it.

My focus now is graduate school, I could care less where my bachelors is coming from. I think for Science and Tech people like us, graduate school should be our real focus.

However, best best best wishes to you! And it'll be super awesome if you make the ivy league ^_^

Cheer up Peilong. I bet you'll get into an Ivy. If not, I'll go beat them up with my ummmmm fists of steal ^___^. And if things are not what you expected, you can always try again next year and apply as a transfer student.
