The customer-employee relationship

I am a busboy. I am a customer. As a customer, I get treated by employees whereever I go with courtesy and respect because the employee wants to keep their job. As a result, if I so chose, I could give the employee hell and be vindicated by the manager in public no matter what the manager would say to the employee in private later. I sympathize, Peilong -- I've been working at the McWane Center and people oftentimes think my only job is doing whatever activity I have out at the moment; contrary to this, though, I usually have to be somewhere else at every new thirty minute interval. They get really unhappy when I tell them I have to leave, even though it's nothing personal against them. I particularly hate the really rude, grumpy, grungy men who think the entire world should serve them...

at mcwane you guys have those hose thing types right? at panera we have the saw blade that goes into the bagel slicer. Our managers should let us use our respective weapons to defend our turf if you will. its really the only way
