That Obligatory Post When It's Been Too Long Since The Last One

Dec 18, 2007 23:49

I suppose I might as well keep in the same theme as the last post and write something totally useless that will fill up space as well as satisfy my craving to type, which at least ensures that some part of my body (namely, my fingers) are getting some sort of exercise.

So, of course, I shall list. Let's go with movies. I like talking about movies. ( Read more... )

Hm. Out of all those, I'd be willing to see MtR and The Holiday (yes, partially on the Jude Law Factor). And I have seen, and approve of, Love Actually.

You do realize that MtR is animated, right?

I don't hate all things animated. I just hate things that are crraapp.

Excuse me? I thought I heard that comment from the person who flat-out REFUSED to go see Ratatouille?

How do you watch so many movies? Dang. That's more than I've probably watched in a YEAR.

Mad skills. Like the ability to sit still for hours and not get bored. Few have that ability, you know. Also, too much time on hands. That's it, really.

I got Ratatouille for Christmas, loved Pirates 3, would like to see Meet The Robinsons (got a bit confused for a moment and thought how is The Graduate cute? then figured it all out), liked The Holiday, hated Ghost rider, love Love Actually, and am not interested in You've Got Mail or Santa Clause 3. I would recommend (not as a holiday movie but in general) Some Like It Hot: it is HILLARIOUS, it's an old black and white Billy Wilder (director) movie with Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, and Jack Lemon. If you want a holiday movie, then I recommend Holiday Inn which is another black and white movie with Fred Astaire.

Ooh, I'm jealous! I'll get that soon. I will look into both of those movies (I do love Fred Astaire) but guess what movies I got for Christmas! I'll just tell you: a Rodgers/Hammerstein collection (six different movies!) a classic Musicals collection (West Side Story, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, among others...) Pocahontas, a Black Adder DVD, CASABLANCA (!!!), and two other movies from the 60s!! Also, I got Abbey Road!! Very excited!

How was your Christmas? What else did you get?
