[Anyone passing through Odin District may notice this prosecutor conversing with a very familiar snowman near the library. His arms are crossed, and he taps his right upper arm with his left index finger as he waits patiently for this winter visitor to speak. He's a little relaxed...although some tension remains. Heimdall. It wasn't far from the ...thing to begin with. [ Again, not much of a challenge. Cloud shrugs. ] Maybe it thought that was hard enough. Not like it had real eyes.

[ Snowman, after all--the eyes were only approximations. ]

Maybe the task was not meant to be a challenge.

...Seeing if we'd play along. [ He folds his arms. ] Least they pay.

Indeed. Other tasks were meant to test other aspects of one's personality, from what I've gathered.

Odin wants intelligence. Heimdall wants... ...gofers. [ Why is he in this house. Why. Because he actually got the button, and he's sure no Odin. ] What about the others?

[glaremaster]

Thor tested people's temperance, Sigyn's snowman asked for something warm, another had people pose for pictures...

And the snow-woman of Freya District wanted kisses. [His face just screams WHYYYYYYY.]

...Not just kidnappers but creeps. [ Yeah Cloud's face is echoing that scream a little though he wouldn't cop to it. ] This keeps getting better and better.

[glaremaster]

I would think a little creativity with the tasks could go a long way.

[ Cloud almost scratches his head, but catches himself and folds his arm, trying to keep a serious look. ] ...don't know what Freya's task is supposed to say about her picks...

...Sigyn must be looking for nice people. It'd fit with--who I've seen there. [ Making a mental note to himself to keep an eye on that house for Aerith and Tifa. ...Then again, he can see Tifa taking care of Thor's snowman without much problem. Or piledriving it. ]

Freya is the Norse equivalent of Aphrodite in Greek mythology - the goddess associated with love and beauty. I suppose her chosen travelers are those who prioritize them as much as she does.

And yes, perhaps so. [He may know a thing or two about Norse mythology but he's not an expert. Still, that was a possibility.]

You're not a native, but you seem to understand her pretty well. [ ...What are those terms you're throwing around, Edgeworth. ]

[He does that, DEAL WITH IT. But don't worry, all he knows about Norse mythology are the basics.]

Where I come from, these gods are characters in stories and epics.

...in a sense, and by the merest thread, perhaps. After all, not many people nowadays believe in them, and I am also convinced that they were only legends passed down from generation to generation to explain what were once unexplained.
