[Akito has to stop and watch this for a moment. Not only because of the whole 'is that a hedgehog?' thing that both sides of his mind are currently asking, but the fact he's running around like he's used to it. Akito recognises when someone is used to running like that. Hm...

Either way, he just watches curiously, waiting for the hedgehog to stop before he talks to him. It's not polite to interrupt things, after all]

[Well, he'll run outta steam soon enough. His insane stamina got gimped along with his speed, meaning that over exerting himself takes a lot of energy.

And when he does stop, he'll take a deep breath and then-- oh, someone watching. Time to play it cool. Despite being totally breathless, he'll stand up straight and smirk.]

How long've you been watchin' me?

Heh, that's nothin'! I've been running all my life, and if I had my real speed I bet I could run laps around this place faster than you can blink.

Wow... [Akito is suitably impressed] I've seen people go really fast on AT, but not on foot before. That's kind of amazing.

Yep, I always book it with the ol' sneaks. Who needs vehicles when you can jam through the sound barrier like it's made outta paper?

You can break the sound barrier when you're running? [Queue amazement. His other is disbelieving, but Akito is more the trusting type. And that's sort of...yeah. Wow] That's awesome! Is everyone like you able to do things like that?

Is Mobius where you come from?

You mean way past cool.

And, yep, Mobius is my home planet. Kinda a mess right now, but we're workin' on fixing the place up now that 'Buttnik's outta the way.

[Laughs and nods] Yeah~ Definitely way past cool~ [Akito likes the sound of that. Agito's eyerolling in his head too, which makes him giggle]

That's good then! I bet it'll be looking better than ever before long, ne? [He's not sure what happened, naturally, but fixing things up sounds good, and Sonic doesn't strike him as a bad person, so clearly things are fine]

Yep! It'll take a ton of work, but a Freedom Fighter never gives up. Besides, pollution's nasty. No way I'd wanna sit around and breathe in the stuff.

Ugh, smokin' ain't pretty, but full-on pollution's in a league of its own.

Kinda glad my home never got that bad. Though it can be in the big cities.
