H o u s e s & P o w e r s
God Houses and the powers relating to them are one of the most important elements of gameplay in Asgard Eventide. During applications, players choose a House for their character based on the character's personality. As well as affecting where the character lives and who they live with, the character's God House determines what sort of power they'll be granted. Applying players can choose either of the powers under their chosen house for their character to get, and those powers will slowly work their way up through three levels of strength. Players must place their characters in the house most suited to their personality, and may not change that house after the fact. Please read this page thoroughly before you submit your app!
When playing, keep in mind that none of these powers are invincible -- people can see through illusions and block telepathy with a strong enough will, and anyone can be killed. Always discuss use of abilities with the other players involved to avoid a godmode situation.
As a note, all powers start out at level 1. Characters will grow stronger with time, and there will be ways for them to level up in the future. Characters are also told about their power (but no one else's) when they've given the run-down by the maids upon entry, so they'll immediately at least know they have a power they can will into existence.
