I made some more progress on the official name change front today.  Everything at work is now squared away, and I called all my credit card companies.  I find it really disconcerting that none of the credit cards asked for proof of my name change.  They just took my word for it and issued new cards.  Hmmm

i'm cracking up about the joe mix up.

i think, oddly enough, you can get a credit card issued in just about anyones name, i read this whole thing about these people who faked being michael jackson and they got a CC w/his name on it and dressed up like him and went to an opera or something... random.. but yeah. :)

Meanwhile, Verizon refuses to accept my marriage license as proof that I'm Kara Ryan. But I guess as long as someone's using the CCs, they're cool! ;)
