It's like we all pray for it, together, in one voice

.
I did it again.
I couldn't help myself, and I wrote this little ficlette :

"Hello Dean."
"Hey Cas."
"You... you don't look surprised to see me..."
"Yeah," he said with a sad little smile. "I knew you'll come back. You always come back, don't you?"
Castiel seemed to be taken aback at that. But then his eyes softened and he smiled back.
"Yes Dean, always."
They looked at each other for a moment (aka in the fangirl language: uncensored "eyesex" scene), in a familiar and confortable silence. Just like before, as if it was only yesterday.
Afterwards, Dean turned back, headed toward his car, opened the driver's door, and he bent in order to retrieve something from under the seat.
"Here, catch! And I expect some thanks, 'coz the cleaning bill was freaking steep."
"Oh..." he said amazed and smiling even more when he recognized his balled-up old tan coat. "Thank you, Dean."
He unfolded it then, and put it on in a smooth movement, ending on a confident one, his hands on the collar to adjust it.
Dean had watched him without saying a word and wearing an elusive expression on his face. Oddly he looked kind of worried. And when Castiel resumed watching him too, the head tilted to one side with a questionning look, Dean quickly crossed the distance between them and took his friend in his arms.
Castiel couldn't believe it, and affraid as he was to break this moment, he kept his mouth shut. But when he overcame the first shock, he couldn't stop himself and mirrored the hunter's gesture: he put his right hand on the nape of the other man's neck, the left one somewhere on his back, and he laid his forehead on his shoulder; thightly, he clung into him. And he closed his eyes and sighed, like he was breathing for the first time in years.
Several seconds later, Dean slightly raised his head, and whispered kindly in the farmer angel's ear, words that this one never thought he'd heard, but that he ever secretly dreamed of.
"Cas... welcome home."
So, for the fist time in his long existence, softly, Castiel cried.

I posted a French version first on Fanfiction.Net here, the night between saturday and sunday...

And somewhere far away, without knowing each other and without her reading my stuff,
this happened almost at the same time:
