Why is it that my mother can't seem to grasp the fact that after washing dishes for 5 hours at work, I am less that pleased to wash dishes as soon as I get home while she sits and watches TV

At work, we have ONE CD that repeats OVER FIVES TIMES every day. EVERY DAY. Beause the managers decided that they wanted to make sure our music was appropriate. I have heard "You Could be Swinging on a Star" over 25 times in the past week. It hurts.

argh, I think I'd go crazy. I have the lyrics to many songs I don't even like memorized mearly because I hear them numerous times per shift.

our radio station loves that song that they played it twice in 20 minutes once. I heard it once before I went on my break and I heard it when I got back. And it's always playing when my alarm goes off or when I walk in the door to work... I never listen to the radio unless it's my alarm or at work.

But the song that's MORE overplayed than Jimmy Gets High is Red Hot Chili Peppers' Dani California. I love the Chili Peppers, but playing that song up to 10 times in an 8 hour shift is just wrong. I'm sorry. I hate that song now and I won't listen to the radio if it comes on.

I HATE Dani California. I wasn't the hugest fan of it in the first place, but now I loathe it because I hear it so often.
