So as you know. I do fitness coaching. I am in fairly good shape after having two kids... but what you don't know is that I was previously a chronic yo-yo dieter. Before I had kids my big goal was "thin" - so my focus was purely on dropping lbs and dropping them fast.

my exercise routine is limited a tad because I'm physically disabled. I'm not wheelchair bound, but one side of my body is weak. I've been doing sit-ups and what not( various exercises on Wii Fit too) but the tummy and the deflated balloon won't get smaller. I was never a stickling either. I salute you. Good luck!!!

Thank you! Can you do wall-squats? (where you basically sit against a wall but without a chair and just hold it) - these are great for strengthening the transverses muscles in the stomach!

I never tried a fad diet because I knew that even though they may have worked, I always cogitated to myself, "And then what?" Fad diets are simply not sustainable, and some not healthy. There is a difference between weight-loss and being healthy, and I try to focus on the healthy part. Now as far as myself, ya ... I freaked out and started starving myself on 900 calories a day - or some days I just wouldnt eat at all, but Im 6'1" 171 lbs now so I think I can go back to a more sensible eating plan that still allows me to lose a few more pounds and not feel drained from lack of calories all the time.

Im gonna repeat that mantra "This is so hard" and see what it does for me when exercising. Thanks! Happy Friday!

Try the reverse of that - something really positive for your mantra
like.. "I am strong - I've got this!"
I find the "omg this is so hard" when I find myself saying it .. it makes me give up quicker!
