Giving Pets Pills

A quick discussion on this delicate process CATS:

1. Pick up cat and cradle it in the crook of your left arm, as if holding a baby. Position right forefinger and thumb on either side of cat's mouth and gently apply pressure to cheeks while holding pill in right hand. As cat opens mouth, pop pill into mouth. Allow ( Read more... )

Trust me when I say this...giving medication to a cat is EASY compared to giving it to a sick parrot. Giving medication to a parrot involves a towel, two people, a lot of luck, a broken in two syringe and blood coming from one or both people.

Try giving them liquid medicine in a syringe. It's damn near impossible!

lol. so funny. sad, its all so true. i can't imagine having to give my cats a pill. they freak out when they have to have their flea drops on their fur.
