I got nudged! it seems I haven't posted anything for a week or so and someone noticed. Same old things going on here. The place where I work hired me to create a website for them. It is my first paid computer job and I now realize I did not ask for enough. lol But I am learning a lot. I know how to get what I want but to understand another ( Read more... )

Sorry to hear about Mum. That's so very not right. There should be lawsuits. I've missed chances to file lawsuits that would've left me "well to do". Investigate.

Frankly, your mother is better off without that dick for a boss. She'll find a better job with a nicer boss soon. Talk about stupid...there's someone who shouldn't be in management.

That is what we were thinking. Plus they kept saying they were going to get insurance but never did. Mom said it was the swift kick she needed any way to find a better job. No insurance=$550+ in med costs a month

I'm sorry Ash, that's awful what they've done to your mother. The boss sounds like she is a coward and using your mom to save herself.

that sucks about your mom. She should file a claim against them. But, like someone else said, now she'll be able to get a better job where she's treated MUCH better. I'm just sorry this happened right before Christmas.

Your mom really deserves better. She was working weekends and overtime and stuff for this company and they treated her like crap. Firing her for her bosses' mistake. That makes me angry.
Here's hoping she finds something MUCH better.
